I think my favorite season is autumn because of the colors nature paints on the northwoods canvas. The vibrant reds, oranges and golds offset by the deepest hues of green of the evergreens on a sky-blue background say, “It’s Fall”. Still, I think my favorite time of all is when… I am sitting at my desk in the Chamber office watching the most beautiful and graceful eagle soaring over Lake Minocqua. I see him daily and never get tired of the sight. The sun is out and there are still gorgeous fall colors painting the Northwoods. The temps are a little chilly, but that’s expected [...] Yesterday I would have said that the fall colors were about 45%, but today they are about 75%. I’m thinking that a very well know artist (Mother Nature) came over our area last night and painted the most beautiful fall picture I’ve ever seen.
