My Thanks

“TIS THE SEASON TO BE THANKFUL”

 I am thankful that I have a husband whom I can love….I am, also thankful that he loves me back.

I am thankful for our children….I am, also thankful that they have their own homes.

I am thankful for all of our grandchildren and that they live with their parents.

I am thankful for all of the beautiful lakes, trees, flowers and landscapes and I am especially thankful that I can see them.

I am thankful for our neighbors and their watchful eye….and thankful that they are not overly watchful.

I am thankful for the fish and venison we are allowed to eat and that we need not depend upon my skill of capturing this food.

I am thankful for gorgeous sunsets and for stormy nights.

I am thankful for old and new friends and thankful that they have their own homes, too.

I am thankful for a job that I enjoy and for the co-workers that make it enjoyable.

I am thankful for the fact that there is a state called Wisconsin, towns like Minocqua, Arbor Vitae, and Woodruff….and I am especially thankful that I am allowed to live here.
