This is one of my favorite times of the year. Although the summer days are over and the sun is setting sooner, there is so much to look forward to…The colors are changing here in the Minocqua area. Everyday I wake to go out to the barn to feed the horses and I am amazed how beautiful and vibrant the colors are getting each day. The weather has been so exceptional, too! We have been so lucky to have the warm weather last so long.
Now, comes the fun of fall and the highlight of the year…Beef a Rama! This Saturday marks the 45th annual event. It is so exciting to look forward to the Klements Racing Sausages, Frontier the country band, and how exciting is this…Meet the Beetles! We are going to rock on with those two great bands. The parade is so much fun as folks dress up and parade their beef roasts down the street of Minocqua.
Fans of the Beef anxiously await the amazing roasts and the competitors wine and dine the judges, hoping to sway the votes in their direction. The artists in the craft show are outstanding, as is the corn and “beverage” served by our Lions Club. Get there in time to watch the beef-eating contest.
Yes, this is the countdown to the big day! Hip hip hooray…it’s Beef a Rama on Saturday! ~ Diane

The Klement's Racing Sausages come to Beef a Rama for the parade.
